Legend of Zelda Fan Art Group Releases Huge New Collection

by Joseph Knoop on Oct 19, 2015 at 07:34 AM

Link’s Blacklist, a Legend of Zelda fan art collective that focuses exclusively on bosses and enemies of the game series, has released its annual update of over 40 new pieces of art. Series fans can now see their favorite enemies brought to life in a variety of styles, including a Grinexx made out of cake.

The Blacklist, which began in 2012, now features 211 enemies and bosses from throughout series history. The 2015 update brings 17 new characters to the collection, as well as 29 characters that now have a second illustration dedicated to them.

The collective is transitioning away from annual updates to a more consistent year-round rotation, according to Game Art HQ founder Reinhold Hoffman. The group will work its way through remaining enemies beginning with those found in the first Legend of Zelda game and continuing chronologically until the entire Legend of Zelda bestiary is covered.
