Batman: Arkham Knight And Mortal Kombat X Have Each Sold More Than 5 Million Copies

Warner Bros. might be having a tough time with its PC ports, but that doesn’t seem to be slowing it down much. The company has had some big successes on its hands in recent months.

In a report about Warner’s troubles at the box office, The Wall Street Journal reports that WB Games is knocking it out of the park in 2015. Batman: Arkham Knight and Mortal Kombat X have each sold more than 5 million copies. The former of these is still unavailable for sale on PC after significant launch woes.

WB also continues to show that kid-friendly games and big licenses are a good match. Lego Jurassic World has moved more than 4 million copies since its launch in June. With Lego Dimensions off to such a strong start and Lego Marvel’s Avengers right around the corner, WB’s interactive division is set up for success.

Our Take
While the gaming community has been vocal about its irritation with WB’s DLC, season pass, and PC approaches. Clearly that sentiment isn’t as widespread as the core of our community would lead us to believe. WB holds a number of powerful licenses that it has been doing quite a lot with. Lets just hope that PC gamers start to see some improvement in those versions.
