Disney Posts Release Dates For Incredibles 2 And Cars 3, Pushes Back Toy Story 4

by Parker Lemke on Oct 08, 2015 at 09:26 AM

Acclaimed animation studio Pixar has a full slate on its hands in the coming years. Today Disney announced release dates for its next batch of films, The Incredibles 2, Cars 3 and Toy Story 4.

Disney plans to release The Incredibles 2, the long-awaited follow-up to Pixar’s 2004 superhero family adventure, in June 2019, while Cars 3 is currently set to come out in June 2017. The company has slated Toy Story 4 for a June 2018 release — a year later than originally planned. Other upcoming Pixar films include The Good Dinosaur (November 25), Finding Dory (June 2016) and Coco (November 2017).

Back in November 2014, the Los Angeles Times reported that Toy Story 4 would tell a love story and pick up after the events of Toy Story 3. Aside from that, few details have circulated regarding plot details for these films. Hopefully Pixar and Disney will reveal more about these films soon, but we have a long way to go for several of them.
