Disney Infinity 3.0 Marvel Battlegrounds Play Set Detailed, New Captain America Figure Unveiled
Four-player brawler co-op comes to Disney Infinity 3.0 in March, and Captain America loses his helmet for a new figure.
The Play Set, titled Marvel Battlegrounds, uses any and all of the Marvel figures for Disney Infinity and features a new original story. It's the first Play Set to feature four0player co-op and you can find a summary of the story below.
In the original storyline, Ultron teams up with Loki in an effort to steal Asgard’s immensely powerful Infinity Stone. To accomplish this, Ultron and Loki create robotic replicas of the famed Marvel Super Heroes and turn them against each other in an effort to distract them while they commit their crime. The Marvel Super Heroes duplicates battle each other in iconic environments such as a wrecked Brooklyn train yard, Wakanda and S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Lunar Base, culminating in a universe-shaking battle against Ultron.
The Play Set also introduces new Marvel figures Hulkbuster, Ultron, and Captain America – The First Avenger. The new Captain America has a new pose, costume, and abilities. You can check out some additional screenshots Marvel Battlegrounds below.
