Farm Destiny Exotics While You Still Can By Blowing Yourself Up With Rockets
We have no doubt that Bungie is rushing to apply a hotfix for this little gem of a trick. But if you hurry, you might be able to load up on exotic engrams before the patch is in.
In order to make this work, you’re going to need some of the new Three of Coins consumables from Xur (he’s in the tower this weekend). Now, head off to your favorite strike in which you can get very close to boss.
As DivineForcesBro shows in the video below, you’ll need to get the boss down to low health. Retreat, use a Three of Coins, and then deal the killing blow with a rocket launcher at close range. The splash damage should kill you if you’re close enough.
You’ll respawn, the engrams will still be on the ground (provided your coin did its thing). Lather, rinse, repeat… until Bungie patches this out.
