Get A Good Look At Luchador Pikachu In Pokkén Tournament
We've seen the mysterious masked Pikachu before, but this trailer offers an extended look and the electric mouse luchador in action.
Pokkén Tournament – a Pokémon fighting game that has some roots in the Tekken franchise – is coming to Wii U next year. It's actually available in Japanese arcades right now, and may be making its way to North American arcades soon.
Ben Hanson and Tim Turi had a chance to play Pokkén Tournament during their recent trip to Japan and discussed it briefly on the most recent episode of the podcast. Something that may not be immediately apparent from the trailers is that the game is more of an arena brawler that a typical 2D-style Tekken fighter.

Our Take
Glad to hear this game is making its way to North America, but I wonder if everyone gets all their Pokémon fighting needs from Super Smash Bros. I guess we will find out more next year.
