Reader Discussion: Are You More Excited To Create Or Play Super Mario Maker?
Super Mario Maker is one of Nintendo’s biggest releases this year, and our early looks at the game have gotten our office even more excited than ever to both play and create some classic, goofy, and even dastardly Mario Bros. levels. What aspect of the game are you looking forward to checking out the most?
I’ve never been a big fan of creating my own levels or worlds in games like LitteBigPlanet or Minecraft; I’d rather have other people do the heavy lifting. So I’ve been more interested in playing through all the crazy levels that the hive mind will churn out once Super Mario Maker releases. However, I’m sure there are a lot of creative gamers out there who feel exactly the opposite. Which one are you? If you’re not interested in either aspect of Super Mario Maker, why not?
