by Mike Futter on Aug 20, 2015 at 03:00 AM

The Forgotten Realms branch of the Dungeons & Dragons universe has had a long and storied history in gaming. GoG has managed to pull together 13 of those classic games in three different compilations available today.

Collection one ($9.99) includes the Eye of the Beholder trilogy. The second ($9.99) bundles Curse of the Azure Bonds, Gateway to the Savage Frontier, Hillsfar, Pool of Radiance, Secret of the Silver Blades, Treasures of the Savage Frontier, and D&D: Unlimited Adventures. Finally, you can get Dungeon Hack and Menzoberranzan in the third bundle ($5.99).

This week also offers deals on another 10 games, up to 80 percent off. The list includes Planescape: Torment, Baldur’s Gate, and Neverwinter Nights. These deals last until Tuesday, August 25. You can check them out at GoG.com.

Our Take
I spent a lot of my childhood playing the Eye of the Beholder games and learning how to strategize in SSI’s classic RPGs. While they might not stand up after all this time, they were part of my formative years. I’m looking forward to checking them out all over again.
