Splatoon Transforms And Rolls Out With Autobot Versus Decepticon Splatfast

Nintendo has announced that the next Splatoon Splatfest is going to hit close to my heart. Players will choose sides between the noble Autobots and those filthy, no good Decepticons.
The Splatfest is scheduled to take place during PAX from 9 p.m. Pacific on August 28 (12 a.m. Eastern on August 29) through 9 p.m. Pacific on August 29 (12 a.m. Eastern on August 30). During the 24-hour event, you’ll be competing for your chosen side while playing Turf War matches.
The winning team will earn super sea snails that can be used to upgrade your gear. Good luck, protect your sparks, and splat for Cybertron.

This is a surprising (and delightful) Splatfest theme. If I weren't going to be at PAX, I'm be fighting to defend the Matrix for most of those 24 hours.
