PlayStation Plus ‘Vote To Play’ Polling Opens Thursday

by Mike Futter on Aug 11, 2015 at 06:08 AM

Last month, Sony announced that it will let PlayStation Plus users choose a game to be offered as part of the Instant Game Collection. Polling opens Thursday, with three worthy contenders in the first batch.

The choices are digital board game Armello, open world exploration game Grow Home, and Zoink Games’ Zombie Vikings. The game with the most support will be included in September’s free-with-membership game lineup. The others will be offered at a discount for PlayStation Plus members.

In order to vote, you’ll need to log into PSN on PlayStation 4. Vote to Play will appear under “What’s New” in the “Notifications” section. You can also navigate through the PlayStation Store to the PlayStation Plus section, where you’ll be able to make your choice.

Voting opens at 8:30 a.m. Pacific / 11:30 a.m. Eastern on Thursday, August 13, and closes on Monday, August 24, at the same time.

Our Take
I’m curious to see how the developers involved choose to motivate their Twitter and Facebook followers. It will be fun to see if this becomes a monthly heated debate.
