Radiant Entertainment Opens Rising Thunder Alpha To All
Radiant Entertainment's upcoming free-to-play PC fighting game Rising Thunder has made its alpha test open to all. The change, which was announced via Twitter, means that anyone who visits the official Rising Thunder website and has a compatible version of Windows is able to register for and play the fighting game for free.
Rising Thunder is the product of several respected members of the fighting-game community. Seth Killian is known for his work on the Street Fighter series during his time at Capcom, Tom Cannon founded the Evo Championship Series fighting game tournament, and Tony Cannon developed the GGPO tech that many fighting games use for their netcode.

Our Take
Radiant Entertainment has an incredible pedigree for fighting games, so we have high hopes for Rising Thunder. The fact that it's now open to everyone gives the FGC the ability to try it out for themselves to determine if the title is able to live up to the potential of the team making it.
