Song Inspired By Hypothetical Half-Life 3 Will Make You Reach For Nearest Crowbar

by Christian Belland on Aug 03, 2015 at 08:07 AM

The wait for Half-Life 3 has been a long one, with fans creating videos, expansive mods, and even a remake of the entire first game in the meantime. Music producer and Half-Life fan Ryan Reedy has recently joined this group, composing a hypothetical track inspired by his anticipation for the series' elusive third entry.

"Half-Life 3: Imminence" is a moody electronic piece that would serve as perfect background music for wandering the lonely streets of City 17 or stalking zombie-infested sewers. Imminence is part of Reedy's Music Redux series, where he writes original songs inspired by upcoming video games. He has done the same for Mass Effect: Andromeda, Unravel, and Doom just to name a few.
