Fallout Shelter Coming To Android In August
Today at QuakeCon 2015, Todd Howard took the stage to offer up new details about Fallout 4. In addition to the new companion and naming info, we also learned that the popular mobile release, Fallout Shelter, is coming to Android next month.
Fallout Shelter is set for release on August 13th, and will be available for free. We also learned that a few new features are on the way to the forthcoming Android version as well as through an update to the iOS version, including the fact that Deathclaws can now invade your base and that the robot Mr. Handy can now join your base as an assistant to your shetler development plans. You can read our review of the iOS version of Fallout Shelter to learn more.
Our Take
This is great news for Android users who have been longing for their Fallout fix. I'm also pleased to hear that Bethesda plans to continue to update the game, adding new options to flesh out the experience.
