The Last Of Us Soundtrack Comes To Vinyl This Wednesday

by Brian Shea on Jul 20, 2015 at 02:58 PM

Considered by many to be one of the most beautifully presented video games of last or any console generation, The Last of Us features a compelling story of two very different people trying to survive in an infection-ravaged world. While the story was well-written and the gameplay was solid, the soundtrack of the game plays a crucial role in immersing players and delivering the story moments in impactful and meaningful ways.

Mondo has announced that a vinyl collection of the soundtrack of The Last of Us will go on sale this Wednesday. The original soundtrack, composed by Gustavo Santaolalla, is spread across four records pressed on 180 gram black vinyl. The package includes the complete soundtrack to The Last of Us including the Left Behind DLC. The package also features striking original artwork by Olly Moss and Jay Shaw.

The Last of Us soundtrack on vinyl will set you back $75. The package hits Mondo's music shop on Wednesday at a random time. For your best shot at grabbing a copy, check in on Mondo's music storefront throughout the day on Wednesday and follow the company on Twitter.
