Square Enix Announced A Final Fantasy VII G-Bike Mobile Game Right Before E3
There was a Final Fantasy VII game announcement last week that demanded a lot of attention that may have overshadowed another game based on Cloud and his motorcycle.
The game is apparently an expanded version of the G-Bike minigame you could play in the Gold Saucer area of Final Fantasy VII. It will allow Cloud to level up, take on bosses, can collect items, all during high-speed motorcycle chases.
You can check out a trailer for the game below as well as a collection of screens in the gallery. Though a release date was not offered, the game is planned for iPhone and Android.
Our Take
Certainly an odd choice for Final Fantasy VII, but now that the remake is officially on the way, I don't think anyone will be upset that this is coming. If this was coming instead of the remake, however? I think people would be a little frustrated.
