Need For Speed Reboot Coming November 3

by Matthew Kato on Jun 15, 2015 at 10:17 AM

EA has already announced the reboot for Need For Speed, but today it talked a little more about customization and the game's story.

The game takes place in Ventura Bay, a huge NFS city that features plenty of cops, and which demands that you earn the respect and take down its five main racing icons on your way to becoming the ultimate icon.

Within those five icons you'll experience a branching story with overlapping threads.

The demo also showed the game in action, with a drift-attack sequence through city streets, with plenty of money and reputation earned all the while for making good time and your driving feats.

Customization is big this time around, and the demo also featured a sequence where the player quickly customized a car with name-brand aftermarket parts before leaving the garage and hitting the streets.

Need for Speed comes out November 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The official E3 trailer is below.
