Reader Discussion: If You Could Go To One E3 Press Conference, Which Would It Be?

by Matt Miller on Jun 12, 2015 at 12:48 PM

E3 is right around the corner, and everyone here at Game Informer is getting ready for the big week. For many, E3 is a sort of state of the union for the hobby, and big gaming publishers take advantage of the attention to explain why you should be excited about their games, often through big stage presentations. It’s a wild ride of exciting announcements, hyberbolic statements, and always, always, dubstep music before and after the press conference.

Whether you’re going to E3 this year or not, we want to know which press conference you’d attend if you could only get to one of them. Would you head to Nintendo’s conference (if they had a traditional one) to learn about the future of the Wii U? How about Sony’s big event, where you might cross your fingers to learn more about The Last Guardian or Uncharted 4? Would Microsoft be your choice, with what will almost certainly be an appearance of Halo 5? Or would one of the the third party publishers get your attendance, like Bethesda, Square Enix, Ubisoft, or EA? Share your choice in the comments below.

Luckily for you, these days nearly every conference will be live streamed. So, while you may not get the excitement of being there in person, you can still follow along throughout the coming week. Here’s the full press conference schedule for next week, so you can plan when to sneakily pull up the streams while you’re at work.
