Arc System Works Buys Double Dragon And Other Technos IP
Arc System Works is now the proud owner of Bimmy and Jimmy Lee and a number of other properties created by Technos. These include Double Dragon, River City Ransom, and the Super Dodge Ball series.
Technos went out of business in the late 1990s, and its assets were purchased by Million Co., Ltd. Million released a number of titles for Game Boy Advance and DS in all three series.
Arc System Works hasn't yet revealed its plans for the properties, but it's a safe bet the company didn't make the expenditure without reason.
Our Take
All three of these franchises have a great deal of potential. I'd absolutely love a new Super Dodge Ball game, as the series has been brilliant since its NES inception.
