Check Your Xbox Live Inbox, Halo 3: ODST For Xbox One Available Now
Halo 3: ODST's updated campaign and the updated version of the Halo 2 multiplayer map Relic (now called Remnant) are now available for download.
If you played Halo: The Master Chief Collection between November 11 and November 19, 2014, check your Xbox Live inbox – you should have a message with a download code. For those that didn't own or play The Master Chief Collection during that time, you can purchase the updated ODST campaign for $4.99.
The multiplayer map, Remnant, is available to everyone as a free update to the game. You can check out a pair of videos detailing the new content below.
Last week, it appeared ODST would be releasing May 29, but that date turned out to be an error, which 343 Industries quickly noted.

Our Take
In many ways, the ship has sailed for Halo: The Master Chief Collection's online multiplayer. The period of time where people were most interested in playing the game was at the height of its issues. That being said, getting a chance to replay one of my favorite Halo campaigns for free is nice bonus and a very nice gesture from 343 Industries.
