Learn About Sharp's Failed Nintendo Television

Nintendo and Sharp have had a business relationship for decades now, but one of the oddest creations to stem from that is showcased in the latest video by Gaming Historian. The video runs down a brief history of the relationship between the two companies before discussing the Sharp Game Television, a TV set with a Nintendo Entertainment System built in.

With the Sharp Nintendo Television fizzling out quickly thanks to its high price tag and low sales, these units are difficult to come by. A simple search on eBay brings up very few results for the television set itself, and the unique black controllers are currently going for hundreds of dollars a piece.
