Destiny Update 1.2.0 Arrives Today, But Won’t Be Activated Yet

If you get booted from Destiny in a little while, don’t be alarmed. Bungie is pushing through a new patch, 1.2.0.

When you log back in, you’ll be treated to… exactly what you saw before you were kicked. While the patch is arriving today, its features will remain inert until a later date.

If you are looking for new information though, today at 11 a.m. Pacific / 2 p.m. Eastern, Bungie will be unveiling the Prison of Elders. All we know right now is that it is an end-game, cooperative experience.

Our Take
My fingers are tightly crossed that Prison of Elders interests me. I’ve been away from Destiny for a while, and it’s going to take something big to pull me back in. Also, I really need to finish Bloodborne first.
