Microsoft Is Bringing HoloLens To E3 This Year

by Ben Reeves on Apr 29, 2015 at 11:50 AM

At the beginning of the year, Microsoft announced a new augmented reality project called HoloLens. If you're eager to hear more about this interesting new technology you won't have to wait long.

In addition to releasing a new YouTube channel for the Hololens, Microsoft's revamped HoloLens website confirmed that this augmented reality headset would be showcased at E3 this year, which will be held from June 16-18 in Los Angeles.

Check out this video, which is a closer look at the technology inside Microsoft's new headset.

Our Take
This is exciting. I wasn't necessarily expecting Microsoft to bring HoloLens to E3, but since it is, hopefully that means it will have more game related projects to show. I look forward to seeing HoloLens go head-to-head with Sony's Project Morpheus in a couple months.
