Heroes Of The Storm Gets Release Date & Open Beta

by Matthew Kato on Apr 20, 2015 at 04:12 AM

Blizzard has announced a release date and open-beta details for Heroes of the Storm – its free-to-play MOBA featuring some of its most well-known characters.

The PC game launches on June 2, with the open beta commencing on May 19.

Blizzard says that when the title releases, it will have more than 30 playable heroes, seven battlegrounds, and more than 130 skins.

If you've participated in the closed beta, the developer says that it will not perform any more wipes, so your progress and purchases will carry over to the open beta and on to launch.

A live-stream event will occur on June 1 in London, with further details in the future.
