First Batch Of BlizzCon Tickets Go On Sale Tonight

by Mike Futter on Apr 15, 2015 at 12:30 PM

If you’re hoping to attend BlizzCon in Anaheim, California this November, it’s not too early to start planning. In fact, you need to start planning now, because tickets go on sale today.

The first batch of tickets will be made available at 7 p.m. Pacific / 10 p.m. Eastern on this website. The second batch will drop on Saturday, April 18 at 10 a.m. Pacific / 1 p.m. Eastern.

If you’re interested in attending the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner, those tickets will be sold separately. You can purchase them on April 22 at 7 p.m. Pacific / 10 p.m. Eastern, with all proceeds benefitting the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.

If you can’t attend in person, virtual tickets will be offered again this year. This time out, those who purchase one will receive the opportunity to purchase a goody bag (available only in person in past years).

Event tickets are priced at $199. Benefit dinner tickets are $750. Prices have not yet been announced for virtual tickets.

Our Take
I’ve had the pleasure of covering BlizzCon from afar, but never in person. Last year was a big show, with the announcement of Overwatch, the reveal of the first Hearthstone Expansion, and the first look at Starcraft: Legacy of the Void. Blizzard will have a hard time topping 2014’s event, so my fingers are crossed for another Diablo III expansion.
