Relaxing Video Game Music Soundtrack Out This Month

by Elise Favis on Apr 14, 2015 at 11:42 AM

Prescription for Sleep: Game Music Lullabies Volume II, an album of relaxing video game music from record label Scarlet Moon Records, releases this month on April 27 through the digital audio store Loudr.

Each track was performed live by Gentle Love, a band that features the saxophonist Norihiko Hibino (composer from Metal Gear Solid and Bayonetta) and pianist Ayaki. The album will include famous songs from Final Fantasy, Skyrim, DuckTales and more. The new renditions of these songs are adapted to sound like calming lullabies, whereas in-game they had a different tone. The track listing is slowly being revealed through Scarlet Moon Record's website up until release.

"The Moon" from DuckTales and "The Streets of Whiterun" from Skyrim are confirmed tracks so far.  You can preview the previous Prescriptions For Sleep Volume One album and its track listing in the video below.
