[Update] The Mortal Kombat X Car Finishes The Field In First

by Matthew Kato on Apr 10, 2015 at 05:14 PM

Update: Erik Jones and the GameStop/Mortal Kombat X No. 20 Toyota Camry has won the O'Reily Auto Parts 300 at Texas!

In his Xfinity Series race debut at the track, Jones beat out Sprint Cup regulars like Dale Earnhardt Jr. for the win.

Congrats to Jones, his team, and Scorpion, of course.

Original Story: The GameStop No. 20 Toyota Camry will feature a special Mortal Kombat X paint scheme tonight for the Xfinity Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.

Driver Erik Jones will make his debut in the series at the O'Reily Auto Parts 300 on FoxSports1 today, April 10 at 7:30 central time.

The paint scheme not only features the game's iconic logo, but has Scorpion on the side panel, executing a spear attack whose chain spreads across the rest of the car.

Thanks to GameStop's Kyle Stephenson for the photos!

If you think this looks sweet, check out some of the other paint schemes that have been on the #20, including ones for BioShock 2God of War III, and Super Mario Galaxy 2. You can also check out our interview with past driver of the #20 GameStop Toyota, Joey Logano.
