Konami And Square Enix Announce Two More Metal Gear Solid V Big Boss Figures
Big Boss is looking sharp for his Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain debut. He’s got a brand new metal arm, sunglasses, and a stylish hood. And, if you want to put him on your shelf, you can choose between two different color schemes.
The Square Enix Play Arts Kai Venom Snake (aka Big Boss) figure will come in one of two camouflage patterns. The standard version bears the “splitter” camo. The Gold Tiger version will be available only via Amazon Japan.

Both of these decos are different than the figure currently available in North America. The camouflage on that one is almost entirely green (as opposed to the green and khaki of the splitter version).
At $100 each (retail price), you’ll probably want to pick your favorite version and go from there. Though, we wouldn’t be surprised if some of you die-hard Metal Gear fans don’t try to collect each version.
Splitter version.
The Splitter version is due out in May for ¥9,800 ($82.40). The Gold Tiger edition is due in July for ¥10,584 ($89.00).
