Reader Discussion: Are You Still Excited About Amiibo?
Over the course of the last few days, many Amiibo collectors have soured on Nintendo's toys. How do you feel about them?
We already shared some reactions to the whole debacle here. Pre-orders for retailer-exclusives Ness, Jigglypuff, and Greninja disappeared as soon as they went online. It was so frustrating that Kimberly Wallace, one of our most outspoken in-office amiibo fans, has decided to renounce the collection practice.
Also for those concerned, after yesterday's fiasco, I gave up Amiibos. I love Fire Emblem and Earthbound, but don't need that stress.

As for me – I still really want Ness, so I am not ready to give up yet, but I definitely understand why so many are frustrated. How do you feel about Amiibo? Do you still like them? Or are you done with them?
