Nintendo Reveals New Wii U Fatal Frame Gameplay Details
Nintendo revealed new details of the upcoming Fatal Frame title during today's Nintendo Direct. The upcoming Wii U exclusive allows players to control one of three different characters as they explore a cursed tourist area. Each character possesses their own storyline set within the same setting.
In this new entry, the Wii U GamePad is used as the camera, adding a new dynamic to the Fatal Frame gameplay. In addition, the Wii U GamePad is also used as a weapon to fend off ghoulish enemies.
Though the game has been previously subtitled "Oracle of the Sodden Raven," Nintendo did not refer to it as such during today's Direct. Instead, Bill Trinen opted to simply call it a "new entry." The game, which was originally announced in 2014, is set to release sometime later this year.
