Smite Turns One, Gods And Skins Discounted

by Mike Futter on Mar 25, 2015 at 04:00 AM

Smite has been out on PC for an entire year, and Hi-Rez Studios is celebrating. The developer is offering gods and skins at a steep discount until March 27.

Right now, you can purchase the Ultimate God Pack, which unlocks every god and all future additions to the roster. This time-limited bundle has been discounted from $29.99 to $19.99 for the anniversary sale.

Additionally, a number of skins are going for 50 percent off, gem packs include extra bonus currency, and experience gained by playing is doubled. If you haven’t played on PC, but are considering playing on Xbox One, this might be of interest.

We know that there will be a way to import your progress and purchase from PC to Xbox One. While that’s not available quite yet, you could use this opportunity to save on the Ultimate God Pack.

For more on Smite, check out two recent pieces from PAX from Dan Tack (the sensei) and me (the student). If you're interested in applying for beta access, you can do so on the official website.

Our Take
I’m having fun with Smite on Xbox One, even though it clearly has room to improve (it’s in pre-release testing, after all). There’s a lot to love even in Alpha, and I can’t wait until more people get in and the community starts to grow.
