Battlefield Hardline Puts Players In The Driver Seat Of A Couch

by Brian Shea on Mar 16, 2015 at 12:54 PM

Players have discovered a new vehicle in the upcoming Battlefield Hardline: a driveable couch. The vehicle, which appears in Hotwire mode, is found in the Dust Bowl map.

The discovery of the couch was posted by the jackfrags YouTube channel, which currently features the below video showing the couch on a rampage. The vehicle, which has been dubbed "The American Dream," can hold up to three additional passengers. Anyone who is killed by a collision with the couch is shown on the kill log as being MERICA'd.

Following the posting of that video, developer Visceral took to Twitter to reveal that the inspiration of The American Dream was from an actual driveable couch created by a Hardline team member while on the show Battlebots. Battlefield Hardline hits tomorrow, but you'll be able to check out some early impressions from us later tonight.
