Learn About Far Cry 4's Anecdote Factory

Ubisoft recently released a video with Far Cry 4 animation director Scott Mitchell, that explains why so many interactions in the game turn into water cooler stories the next day.

In the video, Mitchell explains how the team thinks of the game as an anecdote factory during development. It's why random things will happen in the world, such as strange wildlife interactions like an eagle flying off with a goat in its talons. These type of interactions are intentionally random and implemented so they won;t be experienced by every player. You can check out the video with Mictchell below.
