See Cliff Bleszinski's New Game Powered By Unreal Engine 4

by Tim Turi on Mar 10, 2015 at 08:18 AM

Last weekend during a panel at PAX in Boston, Massachusetts, former Epic Games developer Cliff Bleszinski announced his new game is being made with Unreal Engine 4. Now Bleszinski's company, Boss Key Productions, has released a video teaser showing off how the game looks running in Epic's engine.

The announcement comes after Epic revealed that Unreal Engine 4 would now be free for all developers during GDC 2015.

“We considered several options regarding what technology we’d use to build ‘Project BlueStreak’," Bleszinski says in a press release. "Ultimately, we found ourselves coming full circle to my friends at Epic Games and the elegant solution for rapid and quality game development that is Unreal Engine 4.”

Project Bluestreak (working title) is a free-to-play FPS set in a post-apocalyptic environment. For more on Boss Key Productions, read about the original announcement here.

Our Take
Considering Bleszinski's decades of experience working with Unreal's technology, it makes sense that he and his team would be interested in working within an engine they're familiar with. Based on the gorgeous teaser Boss Key has released, it seems like a good move.
