Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Claptastic Voyage DLC And Raised Level Cap Both Arrive This Month

by Kyle Hilliard on Mar 08, 2015 at 05:30 AM

New DLC for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, the Claptastic Voyage and Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2, are both arriving later this month.

In Claptastic Voyage, a new campaign add-on, Handsome Jack finds something valuable inside of Claptrap's mind and digitizes the hunters so they can venture into Claptrap's brain to retrieve it. The DLC will apparently reveal why Claptrap likes dub-step so much and let you generally explore his mind. The DLC will also include a customizable arena where you can tweak gravity settings, enemy difficulty, and more.

Along with the Claptastic Voyage, players can also grab Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2, which raises the level cap to 70.

The two DLC pieces are included in the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel's season pass, or they can be purchased together for $9.99. The DLC will be available March 24 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, which packages Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will include the DLC. The Handsome Collection also releases March 24.

Note: In the April issue of Game Informer, we erroneously made a reference to the Vita. Saves on Vita can transferred to the PlayStation 4 version of the Handsome Jack Collection, but the collection won't be appearing on the handheld itself.
