Evolve Patch Fixes Data Loss On Xbox One

by Mike Futter on Feb 27, 2015 at 07:15 AM

Evolve has received a new patch to fix some of the problems with the Xbox One version. If you’ve been experiencing data loss, the update will take care of that for you.

2K says that the progress loss bug was experienced by a “small percentage” of Evolve players. The publisher says it affected Xbox One most prevalently, indicating that the problem could arise on PS4 and PC in a fewer number of cases.

Additionally, patch 1.1 addresses a problem with shadows and the flashlight and improves matchmaking and invites. There are also some changes to progression.

Our Take
Unless you were impacted by the data loss problem (experienced most by those playing on multiple Xbox One consoles), this is a minor update. If you do happen to play at a friend’s house or access multiple units, this will come as an all-clear to move your game profile freely.
