PSA: It’s The Vita’s Birthday, And You’re Getting Presents
The Vita just celebrated its third birthday, and Sony is celebrating with a sale and giveaways. You can get three items at no cost, if you play your cards right.
From February 26 through March 2, you can get a Toro and Friends theme for your Vita. You can also nab an 8 Gold Coin Pack for the free-to-play Match-3 game, Fat Princess: Piece of Cake at no cost.
Finally, Sony wants more people to try out its free title Destiny of Spirits. You can get Himiko, a Japanese spirt. All you need to do is complete the tutorial on February 24 to get it delivered to your in-game mailbox.
There are also a number of games on sale. Unfortunately, Sony missed an opportunity to put The 3rd Birthday on sale for the event (yes, it’s a PSP game, but it’s better on Vita). Thankfully there are a number of solid offerings in the lineup.
These include Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward, Deception IV: Blood Ties, Jak and Daxter Collection, and Limbo. The offers start when the PlayStation Store refreshes tomorrow, February 24 and last for one week.
