Destiny's Xur Won’t Sell It, But You Can Build Your Own Lego Gjallarhorn

by Mike Futter on Feb 19, 2015 at 05:16 AM

With its oddly placed “J,” many Destiny gamers have a hard time pronouncing the word “Gjallarhorn.” Thankfully, they seem to have no problems firing it, if they’re lucky enough to find one.

The gaudy rocket launcher is arguably the most coveted weapon in Destiny, and for good reason. Not only does it track targets, but when it explodes, smaller missiles emerge and also home in on victims.

One of our favorite Lego creators, Zazinombies has worked his magic again. We’ve featured his Destiny Icebreaker and Borderlands ClapTrap. Today, he’s showing off his most impressive build yet.

His Gjallarhorn is 46 inches long and weighs in at over 15 lbs. He used approximately 3,500 bricks. For comparison purposes, the Lego Death Star includes 3,803 pieces and costs $399.99.
