Project Cars Delayed Again

by Matthew Kato on Feb 18, 2015 at 05:45 AM

Slightly Mad Studios' ambitious sim-based racer Project Cars has been delayed from its March 17 release date on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The game will now come out first on PC/Steam on April 2, and the PS4 and Xbox One versions will follow on April 7.

"...We know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve," said Ian Bell, head of Slightly Mad Studios in a press release. "We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April."

For more on Project Cars and its customization options, take a look at this video we put together from an earlier build.

The game is also slated to come out on Wii U, but that date remains TBA in 2015.

Our Take
The version of the game I played a little while ago was pretty stable and had a variety of its features installed, so my gut tells me that this latest delay is not a big deal.
