BioWare Job Listing Confirms Multiplayer For Mass Effect 4

Recently, job posting went up for an online multiplayer producer for the next Mass Effect game.

Yesterday, project lead Chris Wynn tweeted, "Things are getting real now and I need an excellent Producer to come shape online for the next Mass Effect."

While the tweet didn't specify multiplayer, this more detailed job posting (translated from French) does, listing one of the main duties of the position as the ability to "Create...multiplayer connected experiences."

This isn't surprising, given how well received Mass Effect 3's multiplayer was, but it's good to have confirmation.

Our Take
This isn't much of a surprise; we don't expect to see a great many single-player-only triple A titles in this new generation. However, this is a good indication that there's a lot of progress being made on the next Mass Effect; let's hope we see more at this year's E3.
