New Eight-Player Super Smash Bros. For Wii U Stages Added In Latest Update
A new update for Super Smash Bros. today adds to one of our favorite modes. Version 1.0.2 adds 15 new stage variants, including a heap of options for 8-player Smash.
You might recall that we spent some time in December obsessed with intra-office Smash smackdowns. Next time we “settle it in Smash,” we’ll have nine new options. The following stages have been added to the roster:
- Mario Circuit (from Brawl)
- Luigi's Mansion
- Pyrosphere
- Norfair
- Lylat Cruise
- Pokemon Stadium 2
- Town and City
- Smashville
- Wii Fit Studio
Some of these stages have been adjusted to eliminate random events and reduce hazards. Additionally, six stages have new Omega variants:
- Town and City
- Mario Circuit (from Brawl)
- Pokémon Stadium 2
- Lylat Cruise
- Mario Galaxy
- The Great Cave Offensive
