Shadow Of The Ninja For NES Heading To Wii U And 3DS Virtual Console
Natsume is bring the 1991 NES ninja platformer Shadow of the Ninja to 3DS and Wii U Virtual Console very soon.
The game is somewhat reminiscent of Ninja Gaiden which released a few years prior. Here's Shadow of the Ninja's story as it appears during the attract screen:
United States of America 2029 A.D.
Due to the dictatorial government of Emperor Garuda a number of lives have been lost.
In order to defeat the Emperor Garuda, two shadows appear.
“Ninja” they are called.
And then the game starts. Natsume tweeted about the game's release and says it will be available to download on January 29.

Shadow of the Ninja's events are only about 15 years away, so downloading it on my 3DS and playing it now should be just enough time to prepare for Emperor Garuda's takeover.
