Issue #1 Of Mortal Kombat X Ready To "Get Over Here!"
The Mortal Kombat series didn't begin with an emphasis on story, but developer NetherRealm Studios steadily built out the lore as the series matured. The simple framework of a tournament set on Earthrealm has evolved into Mortal Kombat X's narrative, which involves the disruption of a hard-won peace. You can get an early peek at the MK X's story thanks to a new comic book available today.
In Mortal Kombat X, readers will find out what happened to bring an end to the quiet that the champions of Earthrealm fought for during the inter-dimensional war. This comic's story is written by Shawn Kittelsen, formerly of DC Comics. Even if the series' story isn't your absolute favorite part of the franchise, it's safe to look forward to awesome fight scenes starring MK X's crew. According to NetherRealm's revealed roster, readers may be in for appearances from favorites like Raiden, Goro, and Sub-Zero, along with cool newcomers like the daughter of Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage, Cassie Cage.
