Captain America's Chris Evans Saves The Day In Chinese CoD Online Ad

by Jeff Cork on Jan 06, 2015 at 04:16 AM

We'll probably never get a chance to play Call of Duty Online in North America, but that doesn't mean that we can't at least enjoy a new live-action ad for the game. The spot for the upcoming free-to-play release features Captain America star Chris Evans helping some office workers live out their own action fantasies.

As you can see below, it has just about everything you might expect from a Call of Duty-related trailer, including firefights with helicopters in blasted-out buildings, blind-firing from cover, and hail Mary-style saves. It's a little odd that the players seem to constantly get distracted by text messages. Chris Evans is there, for crying out loud! Would it kill them to pay attention to the game? If not for him, couldn't they do it for their K/D ratios?

Call of Duty Online is set for a January 11 release in China.
