As 2014 Closes, DOS Nostalgia Boots Up Two Hours Of PC Games From 20 Years Ago

by Mike Futter on Dec 31, 2014 at 02:36 AM

The end of the year typically brings countless looks back at the previous year. We talk about the best games, hot trends, and favorite moments from the past 12 months. For DOS Nostalgia, a glance into history shoots a little farther.

For the past three years, Anatoly of DOS Nostalgia has compiled video of games from two decades prior. We suspect that this year’s two-hour trip down memory lane might make some of you feel old.

Highlights from 1994 include Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls: Arena, Blizzard’s Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, MicroProse’s X-COM: UFO Defense, Origin’s Wing Commander III, and LucasArts’ Star Wars: TIE Fighter. If you’re feeling nostalgic, you can find a number of these titles for purchase, with some even available for free (legally).

Happy new year!
