Chrono Trigger, Bravely Default Tunes Coming To Theatrhythm

by Jeff Cork on Dec 22, 2014 at 03:47 AM

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call boasted more than 200 tracks when it launched in September. If you've already blazed through them all, Square Enix is releasing a new batch of DLC for the game, including songs from Bravely Default, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, and more.

The following tracks will be available for download on the 3DS starting December 24. Each is priced at $.99.

“He of the Name” (Bravely Default)
“Evil Wings” (Bravely Default)
“The Serpent That Devours the Horizon” (Bravely Default)
“Ultima” (Final Fantasy XIV)
“Hard to Miss” (Final Fantasy XIV)
“Zero” (Final Fantasy TYPE-0)
“Ardent Rhythm” (Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song)
“Battle #4” (SaGa Frontier)
“Meridian Dance” (Secret of Mana)
“Chrono Trigger” (Chrono Trigger)
“Horizon of Light and Shadow” (Bravely Default)
“Title Screen” (Romancing SaGa 2)

Another wave of tracks will be arriving on January 8, but Square Enix hasn't released any further details.

Our Take
DLC like this is what separates the superfans from the rest of us. There's no shortage of content in the main game, so I can probably live without these. Still, it's always good to have options. And as long as people keep buying it, you can rest assured that Square Enix will be happy to keep churning it out.
