Norman Reedus Has Not Yet Begun Work On Silent Hills' "Heavy Stuff"

by Kyle Hilliard on Dec 21, 2014 at 10:32 AM

Norman Reedus, known predominantly for playing Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead, shared a very small update about progress on Silent Hills in a recent A.M.A. on Reddit.

Reedus' role in Silent Hills was revealed after completing the P.T., in which players learned they had been playing as a character with his likeness the whole time in a demo for a new Silent Hill. In his Reddit A.M.A., Reedus wrote, "I’m super excited to be a part of [Silent Hills]. Both [Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro] are geniuses at what they do. We haven't shot the heavy stuff yet. Kojima approached me right after Guillermo did."

It's a small update, but  an update none the less.

Our Take
Hideo Kojima is likely fully focused on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain right now, so to learn little progress has been made on Silent Hills is not surprising.
