Stoic Announces The Banner Saga 2 [Trailer Added]
Tonight at The Game Awards, Stoic and publisher Versus Evil announced the follow-up to The Banner Saga. The Banner Saga 2 trailer gives us a look at a brand new race.
The Banner Saga series features Viking-themed tactical gameplay with a gorgeous art in the style of Don Bluth and Ralph Bakshi. For more on The Banner Saga, you can read our review of the original, which was released in January.
Stoic originally confirmed development of another Banner Saga title earlier this year. The studio was forced to defend its ability to trademark The Banner Saga name as King.com worked to secure the words "saga" and "candy" for its exclusive use. King later dropped its opposition to Stoic's use of the word "saga." If you haven't played the original entry in the series, it's due on PlayStation 4 in 2015.
