In response to many experiencing issues with LittleBigPlanet 3, Sumo Digital and Sony have issued a large LittleBigPlanet 3 patch.

You can can find full, extensive details regarding the patch here which addresses nearly 40 different specific issues, but here's the truncated version:

LittleBigPlanet 3 Game Update 1.03 includes a number of fixes to improve the overall game stability throughout the main Adventure and increase general performance and functionality in a number of other key areas raised by the community. This update will also provide you with most of your missing LittleBigPlanet 2 Story Mode Content and LittleBigPlanet 3 Sound Objects, provided you have met the criteria to unlock them.

Our Take
LittleBigPlanet 3 has been available for a little over two weeks now. Hopefully this patch will fix the myriad issues affecting the game, but it's continually frustrating that so many games this year have been so problemaatic following launch. Maybe these games were rushed to make the 2014 window, or maybe developers are still struggling with the new hardware. Regardless of the reasoning, hopefully releases in the coming months will release with more stability.
