There Are New Ways To Wreak Havoc In Sunset Overdrive
Sunset Overdrive is getting its first bit of paid DLC today in the form of four new weapons. Wreaking havoc is fun, and doing so by making OD explode is even more impressive.
The pack hits the Xbox Live Marketplace today, but you can catch a preview of the four new toys below. Check out the Plague Bomb, Rager, Shield Buddy, and Multi-lock Rocket Launcher.
Insomniac has also announced two limited time offerings for the online Chaos Mode. Now through end of the day (Easter time) on December 1, you’ll have a greater chance of earning the ProPain Launcher. You’ll also earn 27.9 times more Overcharge while playing online with friends.
The studio is also offering players a chance to vote on new cosmetics and game tweaks. Check out Sunset TV for the first vote, with the results available in two weeks.
Finally, time is almost up to get the Day One Edition goodies. This version gets you the Nothin’ but the Hits gun, It’s Me! Fizzie! outfit, and the Hardcore Hammer melee weapon. For more on Sunset Overdrive, check out our review.
