343 Industries To Release Remastered Halo 2 Soundtrack

by Matthew Stolpe on Nov 07, 2014 at 11:03 AM

Halo: The Master Chief Collection features unexpected surprises, as documented by our own Kyle Hilliard, and it turns out developer 343 Industries has one more up its sleeve. The developer has announced the Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack, a rerecording of Marty O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori’s iconic score to launch alongside the HD remakes.

343 pulled out all the stops for the album’s 35 tracks, partnering with Skywalker Sound to get the adaptation just right. The soundtrack also features a few new tunes from Periphery’s Misha Mansoor and guitarist Steve Vai.
